Cremation
Cremation is becoming an increasingly popular option. Often times families are unsure of what to do with the cremated remains, resulting in the lack of proper inurnment and memorial. In response, Oneota Cemetery offers both in-ground and above ground inurnment choices. In-ground has site specific designs as well as traditional. Above ground we have the very popular columbarium niches. The columbaria are constructed of native Minnesota granite and are located on the Highland Street side of the cemetery with walkways and flower beds and shrubs. Each niche can accommodate two urns of standard size and the granite doors allow for memorializing with names and dates. Contact us for pricing options.
A traditional grave may be used up to 3 times including 1 casket and 2 cremation burials.
Memorial Chapel
Oneota Cemetery features a Memorial Chapel that is conveniently located by the columbarium niche area for inurnment services as well as traditional burials. The heated Memorial Chapel is available to lot owners for a one hour service at no charge and can be used during inclement weather for visitation and committal services.
Traditional Burial
Oneota Cemetery offers a wide variety of memorial options for traditional burial. With over 100 acres of landscaped hillside, Oneota can accommodate single lots or larger family lots.
